  • 2. Meeting Management Preparing the Agenda; Establishing Meeting Schedules; The Role of The Convenor; Convening Meetings; Gate keeping; Managing Information; Managing Conflict in Meetings; Dealing with Reports;
  • 3. The Legal Status and Requirements of Community Groups Gaining Charitable Status; The Charity Commission; The Register of Charities; The Role of The Named Correspondent; Completing and Submitting Annual Returns; Submitting Annual Return and the Trustee Update form on the appropriate Part of the Form, according to Level of Income and Expenditure; Accounts Preparation and Auditing.
  • 4. Sponsorship and Fundraising: Meeting Accountability Requirements The Art of Charitable Fundraising; Client/ User Involvement; Fundraising Events; Demonstration of ‘Fit For Purpose’; Sources of Funding; Convincing Sponsors of Effective Service Provision
