Professore Vincenzo Casale

Vincenzo Casale ha ottenuto il diploma di clarinetto al Conservatorio G.Verdi di Torino. Nel 2001 ha ottenuto il premier prix (Distinction) in teoria musicale al Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles (Belgium) conseguendo poi quello di clarinetto e il Master in teoria nel 2002. Ha studiato poi all'Accademia Chigiana con Antony Pay e privatamente con Professor W. Boeykens

Dal 2002, si è perfezionato in clarinetto antico al Royal Conservatory in Den Haag (Olanda) con E. Hoeprich (Diploma 2006)

Ha ottenuto il diploma di musica da camera con J. Peuvion al conservatorio reale di Liège e nel 2006, ha studiato con Diego Montes in Frankfurt Hochschule.

Vincenzo Casale insegna clarinetto antico al Gent Royal Conservatory (professore ospite) contemporaneamente alla musica da camera al Conservatorio reale di Liegi e assistente al Conservatorio reale di Bruxelles . Suona regolarmente con orchestre e ensemble di musica antica come Concerto Köln, Les Idées Heureuses, Camerata Silesia in Warsaw,Orchestre des Champs Elysees, Harmony of Nations, Anima Eterna, Concert Spirituel, Orchestra of the Eighteenth century, Octophoros, Ensemble Philidor, Les Agremens, J.C. Bach Academy e Hannover Bach Academy, balthasar neumann ensemble.

Collabora con musicisti quali F. Bruggen, P. Herreweghe, Jos van Immerseel, H. Niquet, G. van Waas, S. Standage, S. Hoogland, P. Dombrecht, Thomas Hengelbrock.

He obtained the musical diploma of clarinet at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Turin. In 2001, he obtained the first prize in Music Theory with honors(Distinction) at the Conservatoire Royal de Brussels (Belgium). In June 2002, he obtained, at the same conservatoire, the First prize in clarinet and the higher diploma in Music Theory. He has also studied in the Accademia Chigiana with Antony Pay. He benefited from private lessons with Professor W. Boeykens.

Since 2002, he is studying the historical clarinet at the Royal Conservatory in Den Haag (Netherlands) under the direction of Professor E. Hoeprich (Diploma 2006). He obtained the First prize of chamber music in the class of J. Peuvion at the Royal Conservatoire of Liège. In 2006, he studied with Prof. Diego Montes in the Frankfurt Hochschule.

Vincenzo Casale teaches historical clarinet in Gent Royal Conservatory (invited teacher) and at the same time is chamber music professor in Liege Royal Conservatory and assistant in Brussels Royal Conservatory. He plays regularly in international music festivals with different early music ensemble like the Concerto Köln, Les Idées Heureuses, Camerata Silesia in Warsaw, Harmony of Nations, Anima Eterna, Concert Spirituel, Orchestra of the Eighteenth century, Octophoros, Ensemble Philidor, Les Agremens, J.C. Bach Academy and Hannover Bach Academy.

Eddy Vanoosthuyse is principal clarinet at the Flemish Radio Orchestra in Brussels. He is the clarinet professor at the 'Royal Conservatory of Music' in Gent (Hogeschool Gent) and guest professor at the conservatory of the Lemmensinstitute in Leuven (Hogeschool voor Wetenschappen en Kunst).

He gives soloconcerts, recitals and masterclasses in Europe (Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Switserland, Austria, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Iceland, Danmark, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Chech, Hongary, Malta), North America (Canada and US), Central and South America (Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, Chili, Peru) and Asia (China).

In 1992, he has been selected for the 'World Philharmonic Orchestra'. In 1999, he was invited for the 'Symphonicum Europae' (concert of the Nations in the Fisher Hall of the Lincoln Centre).

He made recordings for Sony, Phaedra and Gobelin.

After the belgian premiere of Corigliano's concerto, the composer wrote: 'to Eddy, a fantastic virtuoso and a great artist!'

The Dutch editor 'Gobelin Music Productions' asked him to start a new collection with masterpieces for clarinet; The 'Eddy Vanoosthuyse Clarinet Collection' was presented in july 2004 in Washington.

Eddy Vanoosthuyse plays Buffet Crampon Tosca clarinets.
