OBIETTIVI:

The FileNet IDM Desktop Toolkit gives you the tools needed to add Integrated Document Management (IDM) functionality to your custom applications. Mastering these tools will give you a fast and easy instrument to develop custom applications or modify existing applications.

PREREQUISITI:

It is critical that you have the following experience to receive maximum benefit from this course:
  • The ability to assign and retrieve properties and invoke methods using ActiveX controls and COM objects.
  • Intermediate programming competency with Microsoft Visual Basic 5.0 or later (the class will be taught using VB 6.0). Students must be able to demonstrate the ability to build and debug a simple Visual Basic application.

    AGENDA:

    Using FileNet's IDM Desktop Toolkit, which is a collection of ActiveX controls and COM objects, you will learn to write programs to access and interface with FileNet's powerful IDM Desktop and IDM Services software. Course materials cover the development of imaging and workflow applications using the toolkit. In this course you will acquire the skills needed to create a business application that utilizes document imaging, and document management. Topics include:

  • IDM Image Services Objects

  • WorkFlo Automation
  • IDM Viewer Automation and Viewer Control

  • Application Integration including MSOffice, Outlook and Lotus Notes integration
