Italian Summer School For Kids

Lodging:During your stay in Florence you will stay with an Italian family carefully selected for this course. You will stay in a room with one or two other students and will have all your meals included. The average distance from the accommodation to the school is 25 mintes on foot or 10 minutes by bus
Language course: On the first day of school you will take a written and oral test in order to be placed in the course most suited to your ability.

But don't let the word "test" scare you; you will not be given a grade! We just want to understand what your level of Italian is and put you in the right group of learners. If you are a beginner then you can start your lesson immediately without taking a test.

Extra curriculare activities: The first day of school we will do a quick tour to show you where the school is situated, where the Duomo is, and where other important places in Florence are located: the Uffizi gallery, Piazza della Repubblica, and a good ice cream shop.

Naturally, on the weekends we will take you to other beautiful cities like Pisa and Siena that you absolutely must see. For physical activities we will organize volleyball and small soccer games, and when it is too hot we will go to the beach or to a swimming pool to cool off.

We will introduce you to the area around Florence by going on walks through the countryside and we will spend an afternoon at Boboli Gardens. Once each week we will go eat pizza together and if you still have money after your stay in Florence we will take you to an Outlet Shopping center to buy Italian name brand shoes and clothing at super low prices.

For participants over 16 years of age we will organize chaperoned events in the evening to experience Florentine nightlife. You will be able to participate in many events that the city offers in the summer: concerts, outdoor movies, parties, dance parties... Your summer in Florence will be unforgettable!

Supervision: Our group leaders will always be there for you, 24 hours a day. With them you will discover Florence and they will be with on every trip and at every activity, always at your side to help you with any problem.

They will be at your side every day making sure that you return home safe and sound. Every member of the Europass team will be available to you for any problems or questions.
