Emagister.it is glad to present you the course of Jewellery making – Oreficeria of the center Le Arti Orafe Jewellery School from Firenze, where students will have the opportunity to learn various traditional and contemporary techniques for creating jewellery.
The course has a total duration of 9 months, included practical lessons in the workshop (16-20 per week) and theorical lessons where the students will learn the base of the subject such as History of Jewellery, Technical Drawing and Gemmology.
Participants, during the course, will also have the possibility to learn the sketch and the technical design of the object. In this case, students will create jewels guided from teachers and technical assistants, till the production of their own piece, based on their own preferences and following the properly techniques; they will have the possibility to use different kind of materials such as silver, stones and many others provided from the school, and at the end of the course they will be able to take them away for purely personal promotional purposes.

The jewellery courses can last one, two or three years.
First-year entry is open to everyone, while for entry to the second or third years students from other schools, or self-taught, have to pass an entrance test and present their portfolio. Those who cannot attend the three-year course can attend the one-year courses (first, second or third year of the three-year course), or the two-year course (first and second years of the three-year course).
Entry requisite: High school Diploma. It is a prerequisite for foreign students to have a basic knowledge of Italian. A B1-level Certificate(of the European Framework of Languages)awarded from an accredited language centre must be submitted to LAO.The student’s final admission to the school will also be subject to the seats availability.Students who are not in possession of this certificate will have to follow an Italian language test by August 31st at an accredited Italian Language School in Italy or in their respective countries.
