Maltese Survivor - Intermediate level
The intermediate course is a chance for a person to refine and enhance, apart from to learn advanced survival skills. This time a challenge will be set to each participant as to achieve a pass for this course. You will be taught about advanced survival psychology as well as the factor of death. We later focus on more complex elevated shelter building, including raised flooring and tree shelters. Learn to have a look at the natural fauna and flora and learn about what edible plants as well as the medicinal expect of the plant in case of illness or injury, this course will provide you with the complete knowledge with regards to flora around the world as food. Insects as food will also be discussed and taught in more detail giving the participants the opportunity to advanced nutritional use and identification. Primitive advanced traps and stalking of wild animals is also part of the course, with the aim to gather enough food for yourself according to weight for each day. Advanced navigation techniques during the day as well as at night without a compass with specific task at the end to achieve certification. Learn butchering large animals as well as preservation of food. Advanced river crossing techniques as a group as well as individually and the chance to build a raft to cross a mountain lake. This course is based on 2 nights 3 days
