PDE Software Lab (PhD)

Descrizione The course "Introduction to Partial Differential Equations" is accompanied by the "Partial Differential Equations Software Lab”, which treats the implementation of the underlying numerical methods designed for the solution of partial differential equations (PDEs). The students will learn how to design object-oriented code, implementing all the individual components (mesh, sparse linear algebra, linear solvers, discretization schemes) needed for the discretization and efficient solution of the underlying PDEs.
