Designed for students whose first language is not English, this course will give students an opportunity to improve all aspects of their English including speaking, listening, reading and writing. Students will also have the chance to take mathematics, personal and social development and ICT classes alongside their English classes.

Requisiti: Entry Requirements There are no formal entry qualifications but you should show you are prepared to give your full commitment to the course. You will have an initial ESOL assessment before you join the course to make sure you are put in the appropriate group at a level suitable for you. A basic level of English is required in all skills and this will be assessed during your interview.

What you will Study The ESOL Bridging course covers all aspects of the English Language and you will study a range of interesting and engaging topics such as holidays and travel, education, hobbies and free time. You will also develop your skills in English grammar, vocabulary building, conversation, pronunciation, reading and writing through detailed practice.
How you will Learn Through a variety of classroom-based and practical activities including the following: * Class discussions * Interviews * Role-play * Pair work speaking tasks
How you will be Assessed By a variety of methods including: * Classroom assessment * Practice exams * Regular homework * One to one tutorials * External tests

Fee Information Tuition and certification are free if you are aged 16-18. Related additional costs may include materials, equipment, visits, and residentials, which are payable by all students. Any student registered with an Awarding Body who has been given free entry and subsequently withdraws or is withdrawn by a tutor will incur the certification fee associated with the course.
