Neuroscience is concerned with investigations of the central and peripheral nervous system. Our specialist degree prepares you for a rewarding research career in human neurosciences, investigating pathological conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis and epilepsy.

Programma

Our degree is the ideal step towards postgraduate study, which includes taking a diploma, masters or PhD in a relevant science discipline. This can lead to a career in the NHS as a clinical physiologist, healthcare scientist, physiotherapist, nurse or medical doctor. Fast track training programmes are available for many NHS professions.

This degree is also an excellent grounding for a variety of careers within research, academia and teaching (within a school, college or university); science communications (journalism or publishing); and scientific sales and marketing (specialising in diagnostic equipment).
