Descrizione

Core concepts to all art and design areas, such as colour theory, composition and drawing approaches are introduced. Representational skills such as proportion and perspective are taught and the development of each student's original style is nurtured. Gouache and acrylics are normally used although watercolours and oils can be accommodated.
Suitable for: We believe that the most important qualification for our courses is enthusiasm for the subject and a desire to improvethe creative talent. We have students who are at varying levels; some are beginner while others already work in the industry. At the end of your course we would expect you to gain skills at a level 3 qualification.

Informazione importanti

Requisiti: No educational requirements for EU students. For Non-EU students: we would need a photocopy of your passport any school/university certificates, art/design/photo certificates, IELTS or any English language certificate from approved providers (check the UKBA list on the website) and samples of your art/design/photo work. You can send all by email. By the new UK Border Agency regulations students should have a good standard of English (at least B1 level) which is the Cambridge ESOL, IELTS mini. 4.0, TOEFL 437-473 or Middle Intermediate Level.

All our courses can lead to a nationally recognised qualification, although entry is not obligatory.

Painting and Drawing

covers both observational skills and the expression of the imagination. It opens the eyes to the so called 'real world' and channels ideas and experiences into colours, lines and shapes.

Core concepts to all art and design areas, such as colour theory, composition and drawing approaches are introduced. Representational skills such as proportion and perspective are taught and the development of each student's original style is nurtured.

Gouache and acrylics are normally used although watercolours and oils can be accommodated.
