Photographic Communication

includes moving images alongside still photography from both classic and contemporary sources. A series of lectures, group seminars, gallery visits and screenings should stimulate the imagination to provide a critical framework to explore and develop ideas. An investigation of aspects of professional practice provides insight into the realities of working freelance and helps students prepare for their career or higher education. This course can be the contextual studies part of Foundation, stand alone or used in conjunction with photography and video courses where theory can feed practice.

All our courses can lead to a nationally recognised qualification, although entry is not obligatory.
