Skills and Training
This module reinforces the importance of the normal birth process and supports advanced midwifery practice in the facilitation of women's choice, exploring interventions carried out by both obstetricians and midwives that research evidence now reveals can be iatrogenic.
Enabling a woman to labour observed but undisturbed; recognising her individuality and the unique way in which her body functions is central midwifery practice.
Prices for this module are displayed below. The course is available at a reduced price if taken as part of the Advanced Practice in Health and Social Care (Midwifery) MSc.
