Quorum Training provides training courses, designed specifically for business and finance professionals. We cover Accounting and Finance, Financial Markets and Corporate Treasury, Governance, Risk and Compliance, Charities, Taxation and VAT. All of our courses are designed to be both practical and interactive with the option of having these delivered as bespoke in-house and public training programmes. The range of events includes courses specifically designed to ensure that participants learn as much as possible, to directly benefit their day to day work. Our courses are designed for everyone, from new starters in companies, through to CEOs and those working in more specialised areas. Allan Cinnamon is the managing director of Cintax The Word Ltd, a consultancy that provides tuition and online information on cross border tax planning. He is a member of The Tax Faculty’s Large Business and International Tax Committee. He specialised in international tax planning for more than 35 years. Prior to his retirement as a partner of BDO, he was the firm’s head of international tax and chairman of their International Tax Committee.

Alun specialises in audit and accounts training, audit quality control visits, and practice management issues. Up until June 2007 he sat on the council of the ICAEW, and currently sits on its Practice Society committee and Financial Reporting committee. Alun works with a wide range of clients, including accountancy practices, commercial and not-for-profit entities.

He is assistant editor of the ICSA information service, Company Secretarial Practice, and editor of the ICSA’s Company Secretary newsletter. Chris is Professor of Accounting at Royal Holloway, University of London. Previously he has taught in the Universities of Reading, Exeter and Strathclyde. He has held temporary posts at universities in San Diego, New York, Sydney, Hobart and Auckland. He has been a visiting professor at the Universities of Venice, Nyenrode (Netherlands) and Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona), and is now a visiting professor at the Norwegian School of Management.
