Environmental and Natural Resources Policy (PMP)

This course provides a survey of the ways in which economics is used to analyze and resolve problems of environmental and natural resources management. The students will develop an understanding of economic concepts and methods necessary for analyzing and formulating environmental and natural resources policy instruments. Emphasis will be placed on the relationship between tourism and sustainable development. The applied nature of the course is achieved by applying theory to practice while discussing papers and articles with the students. In this respect students are required to present papers to the class.
