Programma
The course in centered on the strategic management of M&A. The course will address the following issues.
- Strategic analysis to support M&A decisions and process.
- Structure and management of an M&A deal.
- Strategic challenges of post merger integration process.
The course is based on case discussion and in-class assignment.
Grading
Students are evaluated on a final written exam (0-10 grades). The exam is a written analysis of a business case. Detailed information on the exam will be provided.
Students have the possibility to take up to 3 bonus points (to be added the final written exam grade) thanks to in class assignments. Each in class assignment will be evaluated according to the following scale: 0-0.5-1. Only students that will be present at the specific group work will be eligible for the bonus point.
Students can use their bonus points only if they obtain no less than 5/10 at the final written exam and only for the first exam date. Groups should be composed by 3 to 5 students.
