This initiative offers a training and specialisation programme geared to workers and managers employed by financial intermediaries, NGOs, local agencies and institutions active in the field of international cooperation and aid, or to people seeking employment in such areas. The strategic aim of this initiative is to strengthen the professional competences of subjects engaged in the promotion of financial intermediaries, and their ability to meet the needs of populations marginalised by the financial system, especially in developing countries. Its teaching and training programme seeks to develop specialists who can be actively employed in the world of microfinance intermediation in its various institutional forms, namely:

    • Managers working, or wishing to work, in the world of NGOs, local agencies and development projects, who need to acquire professional competences and specialisations in the field of financial intermediation in favour of marginal population segments.
    • Microfinance managers in banks, institutions, NGOs.
    • Graduates seeking a specialisation in the field of international cooperation, with special reference to microfinance, and involvement in the management of development projects, especially initiatives in favour of job creation/small businesses/micro-businesses and their demand for financial services.
