Emagister adds to its catalog the M.Sc. Management and Engineering in Electrical Power Systems, the program's main objective is to offer methodological and problem-oriented education, related to research as well as practice.


The program will cover advanced topics in the areas of engineering, science, and economics. The course modules particularly focus on high voltage engineering, electrical machines and battery storage systems used to automatize and manage complex power systems. You will be exposed to topics such as the physical problems of energy storage and power electronics. You will also learn to solve faults and stability problems in power systems, as well as use computational engineering tools to automatize and manage complex power systems.

Specific Requirements

Academic first degree: a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science, awarded by an internationally recognized university-level institution.   

Good performance in your undergraduate studies.  GRE test - no specific points are requested (applicants from EU, EWG and Bildungsinländer are exempt!)

Fundamental knowledge in the following subjects: Advanced Mathematics, Physics, Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering, Informatics / Computer Science, System Theory (Control), Electromagnetic Fields, Application-oriented courses in the Fields of Microelectronics, Communications Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, Computer Engineering or Medical Engineering Preparatory Online Course in Business AdministrationBasic knowledge in business administration is an additional admission requirement.

Students with no previous knowledge in this area will have to participate in a preparatory online course run by RWTH Aachen's School of Business and Economics before the beginning of the study program (July to September). In case of admission you will be informed about the further procedure to complete the online course in order to fulfill this additional requirement.
