You’ve heard Spanish people greeting one another, sometimes with ¿Cómo estás? and other times with ¿Cómo está Usted? and wonder what the difference is. On your next visit to Madrid, you would like to be able to order your favourite tapas dishes in Spanish, present your friend to your Spanish-speaking colleagues and describe your family, interests, likes and dislikes.Learn Spanish from scratch in this intensive course designed for complete beginners who want to gain basic social communication skills within a short space of time, as the content of two terms is covered in one. Our lessons focus on language that is required for communicating in authentic situations making each lesson as dynamic as possible, with lots of speaking and group work. In our relaxed and friendly classes we use a communicative teaching approach, so whether learning Spanish for travelling, working abroad or with foreign companies, this course enables students to build up confidence to communicate in everyday situations, socialise and not feel out of place when visiting the country.

By the end of the course you will have covered the syllabus normally covered in terms 1 and 2 of Spanish Beginners (Year 1) course.
