Official Master in architecture and public space The art of creating the city

Understanding an urban project as an element within the framework of other existing contents in the city, public space. This is the main concept sustaining this official Master, which aspires to train urban design specialists. We recommend that candidates have a basic knowledge on the contemporary practices of urban design and public art.

European bachelor's degree or equivalent. Priority for artistic degree-holders: architecture, design, fine arts, human and social sciences. B1 level of English and Spanish (if it is not the maiden tongue/school language of the student).

Programma



The Master is divided into 50 mandatory ECTS credits, 20 correspond to optional coursework and 20 additional for optional coursework in "contexts" or "Art and the City. On History and Theory".

The Urban Design Alliance has established the parameters and competence that an urban designer should satisfy. Said competence will be developed in the different courses of the Master.

The master's degree price for foreign students non residents in Spain, non nationals from EU, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland or Andorra is € 82 per credit ECTS. Year 2013-2014.
