Every organisation needs strong leadership and people with the ability to make tough decisions – are you ready to step up? Our distance learning course offers you the chance to cultivate management skills that are relevant to your current job.

Developed following comprehensive consultations with the third sector, this two-year course is ideal whether you’re an employee, volunteer or trustee of a charity, social enterprise or co-operative. You'll be able to:

• improve your skills and knowledge in several areas of business management, including marketing, financial management, human resources and social impact measurement
• develop your intellectual, academic and interpersonal skills
• continue your professional development and gain a university-level qualification.

We focus on learning in the workplace, with a range of resources available through our innovative Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). You can also use our VLE to communicate with your tutors and fellow students, and join optional workshops to help reinforce what you’ve learnt.

There are four optional workshops per year. If you start the course in September, the workshops will be in Cambridge; if you start in January, they'll be in London.

While you'll complete all your projects and learning activities in your own time, our friendly teaching staff will be on hand to support you throughout the course.
