OBIETTIVI:

Your company has recognized Content Management as a key tool in managing corporate information and has made a substantial investment toward providing the right information to the right people at the right times to make the right decisions quickly. As a FileNet Content Services (CS) Administrator, you will facilitate the implementation of this tool.

This course is for new CS administrators and other professionals who are responsible for the ongoing installation, maintenance, and support of FileNet Content Services.

PREREQUISITI:

It is critical that you have the following experience to receive maximum benefit from this course:

Significant experience with an operating system such as Windows 2000, Windows NT, or UNIX

Demonstrated experience with a Windows 2000, Windows NT, or Windows ''98 interface

Working knowledge of client/server architecture and LAN concepts

A good understanding of your company's strategic plan for enterprise content management

AGENDA:

Instruction includes a comprehensive discussion of FileNet Content Services concepts, components, and architecture; a detailed description of CS installation in an MS SQL Server 2000 environment and administration (including user access and document security, configuration, disaster preparedness, installation considerations, and daily maintenance tasks); an introduction to FileNet IDM Desktop client interface configuration and utilization; and a discussion of the optional Auditing and Directory Synchronization features.
