Programma

THEORY AND PRACTICAL CLASS ACTIVITIES, OUT-OF-THE-CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE

The curriculum offers the opportunity to develop advanced executive skills to guide business change and the challenges of technology-driven business innovation.

The Programme – entirely taught in English – is divided into 5 terms across 18 months and lessons are held every other weekend.

CORE COURSES

The Core Courses provide a conceptual framework and a systematic approach to be applied to business management.

Core Courses are divided in 3 bundles to develop knowledge and competences.

The first session of each course is always held “on campus”.

  • Economic trends and scenarios

Analysis of the socio-economic, institutional, environmental and technological factors that most influence

and will influence the sustainable development of enterprises.

  • The evolution of consumer behaviour

Illustration of patterns of demand behaviour in the main markets and future trends, also in relation to the main factors of international uncertainty.

  • International business dynamics

Insight into international competition trends and scenarios related to foreign trade and supranational organisation of production; understanding of the strategic models of large global groups.

  • Organisational design

Analysis of the most widespread corporate organisational structures and their evolution in relation to the economic,

social and environmental challenges in economic and production systems at international level.

  • Data driven organisation and digital transformation

Use of big data to take strategic decisions; exploitation of digital technologies for business activities and how to take advantage of them.

  • Capital markets and financial scenarios

Analysis of financial market scenarios and the evolution of financial actors to understand how they will impact the sustainable development of enterprises, including in relation to the evolution of risks.

Description and application of techniques for the analysis of the economic and financial dynamics of enterprises and tools for the economic assessment of business strategies.

Illustration of data management technologies and how to use appropriately processed data in strategic and operational business decisions.

Development of cooperative and competitive strategies and growth strategies in contexts characterised by high uncertainty.

  • Corporate sustainability

Understanding of the principles of corporate sustainability, with reference also to the circular economy and how to integrate economic, environmental and social objectives into a company’s management oriented towards the creation

Principles and structures for excellent corporate governance in relation to the successful and sustainable management

of enterprises with attention also to the case of international groups.

  • Human resource management in complex organisations

Development of guidelines and tools for the development of human capital in complex business organisations and in relation to current social and technological scenarios.

  • Innovation strategy

Insight into technological and business innovation strategies in view of the sustainable development of enterprises and with particular reference to the process of transition to the circular economy.

  • Investment analysis and evaluation

Application of professional techniques for the economic-financial assessment of enterprises, business and complex investments.

  • Development of customer experience

How to design and implement an effective customer experience, involving different organizational units to undertake effective relations with the clients.

  • Sales and social media communication

Innovation in selling strategies to face the structural evolution of markets and changes in buyers’ behaviour; Illustration of “social” communication tools and understanding of their use in the management of long-term relationships with the market and with the other main stakeholders.

  • Project management

Description of the principles, tools and organisational models for project management and in-depth analysis of

how to overcome the main problems in their efficient and effective application.

  • Risk management

Illustration of the risk management process in complex contexts and an indepth analysis of the individual categories of business risk, as well as the safeguards for their mitigation and the impact on the various areas of business management.

  • Advanced issues in risk management

Discussion of a number of practical risk management cases.

  • Business modelling and planning

Illustration of the techniques used to draw up a business model and a business plan, going into detail on how business and financial plans are put together.

VIRTUAL PANELS

Thematic live sessions related to the subject of the current Programme module; participants will be able to interact with the Faculty of the Programme and guest speakers possibly involved therein.

MEETINGS WITH LEADERS

On-campus seminars with leaders, top managers and representatives of the business world, with a focus on operations and practical management of business dynamics.
