The programme
ICT, worldwide connectivity, and the influence of computer based systems are rapidly increasing in both the business world and in our private lives. Often we use software without even being aware of it in our day-to-day lives. Moreover, many business processes can be optimized by means of well-developed supporting software. New developments are rapidly coming up, and hence as an ICT professional you need to have basic knowledge, but even more importantly you need to be able to move along and stay ahead of these developments.

Special features
- The first three semesters are the same for both students of Software Engineering and Business Informatics. Afterwards, you choose to specialize in one of them

As a student of our Software Engineering or Business Informatics programme you learn to shape and make use of new developments. Moreover, you learn to cooperate with professionals from different backgrounds, which gives you a head start in the business field. You have to choose between two specializations:
(1) Software Engineering is about the process of making and improving computer applications, from the first idea to implementation and management of the system.
(2) Business Informatics includes the knowledge of developing software, the use of IT to support business processes and the provision of managers with the right information so they can make the right decisions.
