Untitled Page Full descriptionEffective leadership is essential to providing high-quality care delivery. Staff morale and motivation, retention and recruitment, professional development, quality improvements, service efficiency and effectiveness all depend significantly on the style and quality of leadership.
On our short course, you'll be able to examine leadership concepts, models and theories in general terms and evaluate them with respect to their application in health care delivery. You'll also develop your ability to better assimilate the components of the NHS Plan under the umbrella of clinicall governance into your practice.
We expect students to undertake approximately 300 learning hours to complete this module, including tutorials, literature review, professional development, web-based activities using our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), and the development of your assignment.
