Programma
Interaction Technology combines knowledge, technical expertise and skills from a range of disciplines with a view to creating intelligent interactive systems that automatically respond to a user’s emotions and social cues and make appropriate decisions on what action to take. You will master the design of complex, multi-modal interfaces and examine the human factors of media and their interfaces. Subjects include natural language processing, virtual agents, ambient entertainment, social robotics and artificial intelligence.
Within the requirements of the programme you will have a great deal of freedom to put together your own individual study programme, in line with your own interest. We will regularly challenge you to put what you have learned into practice in a series of projects. Your course list will have to be approved by the programme mentor.
GENERAL PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
•Technology courses (minimum fill worth 20 EC)
•Courses on Understanding Humans and Context (minimum fill worth 10 EC).
•Research courses (minimum fill worth 10 EC).
•Design courses (minimum fill worth 5 EC).
•Impact, Innovation & Entrepreneurship (minimum fill worth 5 EC).
•Storytelling courses (minimum fill worth 5 EC).
•Additional courses and electives related to the programme (20 EC left, e.g. all courses already mentioned above but not yet followed, Advanced Courses as listed hereafter, Internship, free choice)
