This Master provides an opportunity to explore the theoretical, conceptual and operational frameworks for managing development from a multi-disciplinary perspective. It integrates socio-economic policies with an in-depth understanding of the legal, institutional, local and managerial contexts for the effective planning and implementation of development programmes and projects. The content and learning delivery methods are designed to provide the participants with the full spectrum of competencies needed to deal with the challenges currently faced by development professionals in their pursuit of social and economic progress, while preserving the natural environment for future generations. This is an intensive blended-learning programme delivered in three successive phases: internet-based distance learning, interactive classroom attendance, and practical research work. Conducted in English, it is now being delivered for the 19th time and has been successfully completed by 600 students from more than 85 countries.
