Master of Business Administration (MBA)- The Hague University (THUAS)

The programme
The Hague is an international conglomerate of global organisations and businesses. It is the political heart of the Netherlands and also hosts the international criminal court and many other international institutes. Its proximity to Rotterdam, Delft, Utrecht and Amsterdam provides with an excellent central location for businesses and serves as a hub for a variety of entrepreneurial activities. Studying at THUAS therefore means that you have the opportunity to connect with some of the top multinationals of the world that are present in the city such as Shell, Siemens, KPN, T-Mobile, Huawei, Unilever and DSM. Therefore, our MBA creates an excellent opportunity for networking.

At the MBA programme of THUAS, you will encounter four important but distinct phases in the curriculum that will help you develop into a confident business professional. The first phase consists of basic modules that offer a solid foundation for your personal and professional development. The next phases offer modules to further deepen your knowledge in addition to implementing strategies and business models. You will also acquire research skills and further develop your leadership competencies. The last component of the curriculum, and final phase, is the master thesis. The thesis incorporates and consolidates all the knowledge you have obtained throughout the programme and demonstrates your ability to act and think as an MBA graduate.

Students can also follow an MBA specialization track in Responsible Management, in collaboration with UPEACE, taking place in term 3. Four specialization modules around the themes of sustainable business, responsible management, corporate social responsibility and social entrepreneurship will take place at the University for Peace in Costa Rica. The final phase will be in The Hague with the MBA Full Time cohort. You will earn UN approved certificates on top of the MBA degree.

Career prospects
After graduating, you will be able to greatly advance your professional career and make lasting, positive contributions to business. Graduates move to mid- tot senior level roles in any type of organisation. Quite often MBA graduates start or continue their own businesses as entrepreneurs, or thrive as business consultants.
