SPANISH SPECIALISED TRANSLATION 1

During the course semi-specialist texts of various typologies will be dealt with. In particular macrotextual and discursive characteristics as well as matters of a lexico-semantic, terminological, phraseological and syntactic nature will be carefully analyzed starting from a comparative and contrasting perspective. This approach is aimed at a deep understanding of the source text through the analysis of extratextual and intertextual elements which are decisive in the process of selecting the translation strategies to be adopted.
Particular emphasis will be given to the presentation of methodological resources and regulatory tools, both paper and digital, with the aim of facilitating the student a set of necessary information on methods and strategies of translation from a foreign language.
