Humanitaria Charter and Protection Principles as a framework of the Sphere Minimum Standards in Humanitarian Response Standards.
Understand the core principles found in the Humanitarian Charter and the International legal instruments on wich the are based; recognize the protection principles underpinning the Sphere standards; underdtand the meaning and explain the difference between standards, key actions,key indicator and guidance notes.
Interested participants should be professional with prior exposure to humanitarian issues and/or development work in countries or at intrnational level.

Programma
The duration of the course is 3 days and it will be held in English.
The fee includes training, course materials, tea and coffee, and lunch on each day. Participants
are responsible for finding and paying for their own accommodation if required.
All transfers must be completed at least 2 weeks prior to the course start date to ensure 100% of
the costs are transferable.

Humanitarian Charter and Protection Principles as a framework of the Sphere Minimum Standards in Humanitarian Response Standards, key actions, key indicators and guidance notes in the 4 key sectors of the humanitarian response (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene promotion, Shelter and Settlements and Non Food Items, Food security)
By The End Of The Course You Will Be Able To
Understand the core principles found in the Humanitarian Charter (HC) and the international legal instruments on which they are based.Recognize the Protection Principles underpinning the Sphere standards.
Understand the meaning and explain the difference between standards, key actions, key indicators and guidance notes.
Use the Sphere standards in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene promotion, Shelter and Settlements and Non Food Items, Food security and Nutrition, and Health Action along the project cycle, to plan, monitor and evaluate humanitarian operations
