Questo corso prepara i partecipanti per installare e configurare l'architettura Cisco Unified Communications Manager in un ambiente multisite.

Il corso si focalizza sul Cisco Unified CallManager Release 6.0, sull'instradamento delle chiamate, sui protocolli di segnalazione utilizzati nell'architettura Cisco Unified Communication, tra i quali H.323 e il Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP), e sulle funzionalità del Cisco Unified Border Element e del Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST). Vengono inoltre considerati vari aspetti riguardanti la mobilità e la sicurezza delle comunicazioni vocali.

Il corso comprende attività di laboratorio nelle quali i partecipanti implementeranno il piano di instradamento chiamate per un ambiente multisite; configureranno la funzionalità SRST per un sito remoto in caso di WAN failure e implementeranno meccanismi per ridurre la necessità di banda nella IP WAN. Configureranno anche la funzionalità di call admission control (CAC) e di automated alternate routing (AAR), per reinstradare le chiamate verso la rete telefonica pubblica (PSTN) in caso non ci sia banda disponibile.

Altri laboratori saranno orientati alla Cisco Unified Communications Manager Device Mobility, Extension Mobility, e voice security.
