The joint efforts of these institutions confirm the Turin’s role in international sharing knowledge and training.

The 2010 edition, focused on Migration - Challenges and Opportunities for Europe, is organised in co-operation with the (FIERI) and under the auspices of the (IOM) and the .

The Turin International Summer School aims to provide to participants specific knowledge on economic, legal and social aspects related to immigration flows within the EU system. In particular the programme will be focused on:

  • EU Migration policies
  • EU Legal status and rights of immigrants
  • Civil rights of immigrants
  • Expulsion for illegal entry and crimes within the EU
  • Trafficking in human beings
  • Radicalisation
  • EU External relations and human resources development
  • Skills development for legal migration
  • Integration models
  • Second generations in Europe
