It’s been the greatest years of my life, studying in SHMS, Switzerland. The school has designed a program to help students to be a professional and as a team, and these experiences has provided many opportunities. Being able to learn about different cultures from all my international classmates has helped a lot with my job when I have to meet international clients. In general, it was an eye opening experience for me in many aspects, the quality or living, meet friends with different backgrounds, most importantly having a well education system. I’m glad I’ve made the decision to study in Switzerland with Shms.

It’s been the greatest years of my life, studying in SHMS, Switzerland. The school has designed a program to help students to be a professional and as a team, and these experiences has provided many opportunities. Within the Hotel Management study you are working with high motivated students which is mainly the effect of the selection before-hand. Further, the teachers are enthusiastic and experiences within the hospitality industry. The teachers know you by name and are guiding you intensively to make sure that you develop yourself personally and professionally. The study is focussed on managing hotels, however, the study gives the opportunity to develop a broad knowledge off for example marketing, business law, ethics, economics, finance, research and design and more, what you can use in (almost) every company. Additionally, regularly you get the change to collect all your knowledge that you learned to implement in a real life situation/company.

Breda university of Applied Science provides with small-scale but of high-quality education. Hotel Management gives opportunity to practice and develop hospitality skills already in the first year (working on different position with the uni). All assignments and material are directly applied to the sphere of hospitality. Teachers are always willing to help students comprehend the material by discussing, explaining and applying to real-case scenarios. This programme also gives practical knowledge about wine and food. In general, there is a lot of practice and the material given can be easily applied on the workplace in the future.
