Advanced Non-Medical Prescribing (V300)

Non-Medical Prescribing prepares you to prescribe medicines from the BNF, within your area of competence, and to assist you in extending your practice. You’ll learn to prescribe safely, appropriately and cost-effectively, as both an independent and supplementary prescriber.

You’ll already be a fully qualified nurse, midwife, pharmacist, physiotherapist, chiropodist or podiatrist, and you’ll be registered with your relevant professional body. You may interested in this course because:

On successful completion of this programme, you’ll be qualified to prescribe any medicine for any medical condition within your field of competence, including some controlled drugs.
