Programma

1) The frontal lectures will introduce the students to corpus linguistics and to the use of specific software for constructing and analysing corpora. They will also explore some aspects of English grammar and lexico-grammar. Students will carry out their own analyses of general corpora and of corpora collecting various types of texts (mainly literary texts and texts concerning environmental issues).
2) Academic English text writing and oral skills practice.

For both parts the platform Moodle will be used.
