Expected learning outcomes of the programme
The MSc degree programme in Environmental and Land Engineering has the following strengths:
Quick access to job market
Wide spectrum of skills in many fields of engineering (cross-curricular degree program)
Rich training offer, with many practical classes, field trips, technical visits
Flexibility and adaptability to every field of work
Focus on safety, quality and environmental issues
Ability to face professional and technological challenges and to keep up-to-date with reference to scientific and technological developments
Chance to work as a freelance consultant, in engineering firms, private companies and public institutions.
The MSc programme aims to train engineers to have a deep understanding of the theoretical and scientific aspects of environmental and land engineering, where they are able to conceive, plan, design, manage and control works, plants, systems and processes interacting with the environment and the territory.
More specifically, the educational objectives across all four specializations (Environmental Protection, Geo-Engineering, Natural Risks and Civil Protection, Climate Change) are as follows:

Design and implement technological interventions of environmental protection, in the usual human activities or in the presence of accidental events; plan and manage production activities in an environment-friendly manner; design and implement contaminated site recovery, waste management, and wastewater treatment.
