Il focus delle lezioni è l’insegnamento delle regole grammaticali: tempi verbali (dal simple present al simple past), gli avverbi di frequenza e i pronomi personali oggetto, il modale can e altre forme verbali (there is/there are).
La conoscenza del lessico e delle strutture grammaticali viene sempre verificata tramite esercizi svolti in classe, attività in coppia e in gruppo, che permettono ai corsisti di memorizzare i vocaboli su diverse tematiche (il lavoro, l’orario, i giorni della settimana, i mesi, le date, i luoghi, l’hotel) in modo efficace. Molto riguardo viene dato allo speaking e alla conversation, integrati da esercizi di roleplay in cui i corsisti recitano delle parti in modo da ricreare situazioni verosimili della vita quotidiana e interagire in lingua inglese.
A fine corso, i partecipanti sanno usare frasi basilari e descrivere aspetti del loro quotidiano e dell’ambiente circostante. Il corso si conclude con la prova finale, basata sul sistema multiple choice, tesa al livello A2 del QCER (Quadro comune europeo di riferimento per la conoscenza delle lingue).
