Studying at Humanitas University means you will have day-to-day clinical contact with both a leading hospital and group of doctors, researchers, nurses and other healthcare professionals involved in groundbreaking research. You will also meet up with students from over 20 countries worldwide; over 40% of our medical students are from abroad. The Student Office will assist you even before your arrival with the administrative paperwork to be completed in your home country.

• 12 years of education
• A high school/ secondary school diploma:
– for students from the UK, at least 3 A-levels in scientific subjects
– for students from the USA, at least 3 APs (Advanced Placements) in scientific subjects OR
– having passed all exams in the first two years of college, or having passed all exams of the first year of college as well as 4 APs
– For IB students: diploma obtained after 12 years of education

All our university courses are built on the high- quality teaching and international experience of the Faculty, doctors and researchers. The courses foresee robust interaction between students and healthcare professionals as well as numerous activities where theoretical knowledge is integrated with practical clinical skills. Students also have the opportunity to learn
and practise in our state-of-the-art Simulation Centre and Anatomy Lab.

Programma

The degree programme offers a wide selection of hands-on activities, both simulated and in the hospital. Tutors facilitate reflection and accountability through briefing, debriefing and portfolios and help develop self-directed learning. In your third year of medical school, you will start your clinical training at the Humanitas Research Hospital (awarded as the ebst Italian hospital for the third time) supported by a tutor who will accompany you throughout the activities.

Humanitas University offers a range of additional opportunities aimed at supporting both academic and personal development. Students may choose to participate in student societies, take part in university sports activities, or apply for advanced academic programmes such as the Honors Track and the Virgilio Program. These initiatives are designed to complement the core curriculum and encourage active engagement.
