Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and their workers are hard-hit by the present COVID-19 outbreak and related economic downturn. In response to the crisis, governments, employers' and workers' organizations, enterprises, and other social partners are implementing strategies to minimize the negative impacts, supporting business operations and protecting workers' rights, heading towards resilience.

What will I learn?
What policy options do Governments have to help MSMEs maintain their operations and workforce, and engage other partners? What can Employers' Organizations do? What are the good practices from enterprises themselves, especially MSMEs? What worked in previous calamities to keep SMEs afloat?
This course will dive into effective business continuity strategies through different angles, with a specific context of the COVID-19 pandemic, and also include passed experience of the ILO and its partners to support business operation and decent work during and after other types of crisis.
