WOMEN'S HUMAN RIGHTS

In the first part of a general approach, particular relevance will be given to issues inherent women condition that have been the object of political negotiation both internationally and internally within the framework of promotion and protection processes of women's human rights affirmation .
During the lectures on the development of international politics for women's human rights, the main international reference documents will be examined with particular reference to the commitment of the UN Commission on the Status of Women and the UN Commission on the Elimination of All Forms of discrimination against women.
With particular attention will be considered the advancement of the political agenda - with a perspective towards the multi-level governance dimension of public policies on combating male violence against women.
A similar route will be developed on the matter of trafficking for sexual exploitation in the context of mixed migration flows, also with reference to the international protection of women. In this regard, policies to counteract organized crime and those to protect victims will be examined in the light of the broader connections that this phenomenon presents with immigration and prostitution.
Regarding the dimension linked to the implementation of public policies on these areas, particular attention will be devoted to multi-agency work in a human rights perspective.
The course will also consider issues related to the Women, Peace and Security agenda in the context of complex humanitarian emergencies. Also during this section of the course the main reference documents will be examined and analyzed.
During the lessons it will be possibile the partecipation of experts in the different topics considered and operators in the field.
