Public-private partnership policies: Legal framework and competition requirements

This workshop explores the legal foundations of public-private partnerships (PPPs) and the managerial processes for setting them up and maintaining their economic/financial equilibrium and effectiveness in service delivery. The workshop will cover factors influencing the decision to adopt PPP as a contractual method, and payment availability set-up and planning for PPP implementation, as well as the legal, economic (tariff levels) and service-delivery (duration and performance requirements) issues involved in tendering and managing PPP arrangements.
