The Master in Humanitarian Logistics represented a turning point in my career, allowing me to move from national logistics coordinator to a regional role in the supply chain. In addition to certifying and consolidating my skills, I acquired new knowledge in crucial sectors such as telecommunications, fleet management and radios, where I had less experience. The simulations at the university were particularly engaging and educational. Despite work commitments, I managed to complete the path, expanding my humanitarian network in Italy and maintaining valuable relationships with former students, now professionals who are establishing themselves in the sector.

The flexible schedule of this master program in Humanitarian Logistics allowed me to attend classes while working full time. The master's program broadened my knowledge of the humanitarian sector and provided me with practical and theoretical knowledge on supply chain, logistics and operations. It was instrumental in enabling me to move from a managerial position in the NGO sector to a more technical position in the field with the United Nations.

The Master's course not only provided us with the technical skills to work in the Humanitarian Logistics sector, but also showed us how to apply these basics through exercises and drills.
Although I do not work in the humanitarian sector now, many of these experiences have strengthened my organisational/management skills.

The UNIVPM HumLog master helped me make the career leap I needed. During my master's degree I worked for an NGO that develops software for humanitarian organizations. I liked the job but I wanted something more operational. Thanks to the master's degree, I made it and started with an international organization in East Africa as a logistician. This experience allowed me to launch my career in the humanitarian sector. Furthermore, I really appreciated the quality of teaching from some figures who were not professors but professionals in the sector. This allowed me to get my hands on examples/case studies and tools that I then used during my professional life.
