Aim of the Course

In keeping with the mission of both the European School of Haematology (ESH) and the European Group for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) to promote and facilitate access to state-of- the-art and cutting-edge knowledge in blood and marrow transplantation at the European level, the course will explore the major issues impacting on haemopoietic stem cell transplantation in children. The course, whose faculty counts many of Europe’s leading paediatric haematologists/oncologists, is addressed specifically to postgraduate/resident level students. Participation will be limited to 100. Grants covering both travel and local expenses for the 3½-day event will be awarded to the most qualified candidates (judged and selected on the basis of submitted abstracts).
