Asynchronous content consists of video lectures, interactive learning material, slides, and documents, as well as online coding software and simulations. You can access the materials 24/7 on a mobile APP or PC, via our online learning platform Canvas. That way you can fit learning around your own schedule.
Live lessons, instead, are where you can connect directly with the rest of the class and with the lecturers. Case studies, practical exercises, guest speakers, and other activities will all be covered by the lecturers here. Each and every session will also be recorded and made accessible on Canvas.
Additionally, you will have access to Teaching Assistants on a daily basis and will be able to communicate with other students and your instructors via Canvas and the internal chat.

This Master of Science is designed for future tech leaders, balancing advanced technical skills with the ethical and strategic framework necessary for modern AI. The program is structured over 3 or 4 intensive Terms (13 weeks each), offering maximum flexibility with two annual intakes in September (Fall) and February (Spring).
Term 1: AI Foundations & Ethics
Establish a solid technical and ethical base to master the AI landscape:
AI & Ethics: Introduction to AI and the moral implications of its development.
Programming for AI: Core coding skills specifically tailored for intelligent systems.
Machine Learning: Mastering the algorithms and models that power modern AI.
Data Science: Advanced techniques for Data Analytics and Visualization.
Human-Centered AI: Designing AI systems with a focus on human interaction and design.
Term 2: Execution & Advanced Applications
Deepen your technical expertise and apply AI to real-world business scenarios:
Core Technologies: Deep dives into Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision.
Architecture: Designing robust Computing Architectures for AI systems.
Strategy & Business: Integrating AI into Entrepreneurship and Corporate Strategy.
Research Mastery: Using professional Research Methods and Tools for AI development.
Specialization (Elective): Tailor your path by choosing one from Agentic AI, AI for IoT and Automation, or Secure Large Language Models (LLMs).
Term 3: The Capstone Project (Final Phase)
The program concludes with a hands-on Capstone Project or Dissertation. Students can choose to complete this in one term (90 ECTS total) or extend it to two terms (120 ECTS total):
Industry Internship: Apply your skills within a company or research lab (OPIT facilitates these opportunities).
Professional Dissertation: Conduct original research or solve a complex business problem.
