This Master provides you with an in-depth knowledge of recent developments in the hospitality industry necessary for tackling current challenges both on a local and a global level. You’ll be taught by internationally renowned academics and professionals in the field who will bring real-world experiences to improve your career perspectives and support you in becoming a leading hospitality manager.

You will gain a thorough understanding of how present economic and societal developments may affect a business, its overall performance and its future sustainability. Moreover, you will gain insight into effective technical and operational tools that may improve your work performance. In this study programme we will help you to develop entrepreneurial, operational and strategic skills necessary to excel in one of the fastest expanding global industries.
Graduates of our master may expect to work in all managerial positions within the hotel management sector, and, more generally, within the tourist sector. Hospitality and tourism management job opportunities are foreseen to grow from the current situation at 1 in 10 jobs to 1 in 9 jobs or 380 million jobs worldwide by 2027 (Source).
You are eligible to enroll for this master programme if you possess a university degree (with a duration of at least 3 years and awarding 180 credit points). You will also be required a B2 level of proficiency in English, either through a certificate, or through an interview.

Programma
Our Master at the Bruneck-Brunico campus combines practice and theory. It starts in March 2019 and ends in May 2020 and it is organized to suit the needs of freelancers, executive managers and the staff of companies. In total, the programme includes 10 weeks of teaching and about 10 days of exams and thesis presentation totaling 60 credit points of which 50 CP are awarded for attendance of the modules (lectures and seminars) and 10 CP for the final exam and presentation.
The three main topic areas are:
- Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management
- Strategic and Marketing Management
- Decision, Financial and Operations Management
