In recent years, the diffusion of B2C e-commerce has been increasing in many industries and in both mature and emerging markets. In such a scenario, also due to its real potentialities to support retailers’ omnichannel strategies, B2C e-commerce has become a priority for all the companies aiming to improve the journey of their customers.
The International Master in E-Commerce and Sales Management aims to provide students with the proper skills and knowledge of the most important pillars of a B2C e-commerce initiative, such as: the choice of the right B2C e-commerce platform, the development of marketing campaigns, the design of an effective customer journey on the website, the implementation of an omnichannel strategy.

*Starting from the 2022 intake – only in case of visa delays, travel barriers or other specific issues – it will be possible to join classes online only until December 31st.

Please note that this programme is designed for fresh graduates with ideally no more than 3 years of work experience. Candidates who have have more than 3 years of work experience may also consider our International MBA programs.

The International Master in E-Commerce and Sales Management addresses candidates with any background, who aim at acquiring the professional expertise, approaches and tools to successfully a manage a B2C e-commerce initiative.

The ideal candidate:

is willing to increase his/her competences in the digital transformation area, with specific attention on digital commerce.
holds a bachelor/undergraduate degree from an accredited institution.
holds an English proficiency certificate: IELTS (or equivalent) with 6.5 overall (for non-native speakers).

Globally, B2C e-commerce is a rapidly growing phenomenon in the retail sector, gaining increasing importance in many countries – in both mature and emerging markets – with online initiatives proliferating across different industries.
In 2020, the online market was worth more than € 2,500bn worldwide. Its diffusion, measured as the incidence of Digital Commerce on overall Retail sales, has exceeded 30% in several countries.
Skills and competences related to B2C e-commerce are increasingly required by different types of company: in 2021, hiring for profiles related to the B2C e-commerce area have increased by 51% with respect to 2020 (Forbes)

The International Master in E-Commerce and Sales Management is a 12-month International Master programme offered by Politecnico di Milano, aiming to train students in the most significant pillars for a B2C e-commerce initiative: the choice of the right B2C e-commerce platform, the development of marketing campaigns, the design of an effective customer journey on the website, the implementation of an omnichannel strategy.
The master is taught entirely in English.
