Master in Social Innovation for Sustainable Development

An international approach is applied to the contents and methodology of this Master, as well as to the composition of the faculty. Participants will acquire the theoretical and practical knowledge and professional skills necessary for operating in the context of social innovation and social entrepreneurship for development and growth. They will be exposed to international approaches and practices with a view to better understanding their social innovation impacts and the rise of hybrid organizations. The Master provides a set of methods and tools for designing innovative solutions within the framework of the SDGs by looking into recent changes and trends in the major economic regions of the world. Throughout the course, participants will be supported in the development of a specific project that will constitute their final thesis. During the classroom-based period, academics, practitioners and other resource persons will use lectures, case studies, laboratories, group work and practical exercises to strike a balance between theory and practice and to stimulate interaction with the resource persons and among participants.
