Master in Economics and Management of Government and International Organizations

The Master of Science in Economics and Management of Government and International Organizations has the following educational objectives:

provide advanced studies on public management, analysis of public policies and their application in order to work in professional sectors, both public and private, to improve public services at international, national, and local levels;
promote the development of a unitary vision of government methodologies of public administration and international organizations, relations management between these institutions and companies operating in their sector;
complete your business and economics preparation providing competences in subjects as economics, quantitative and juridical, so as to develop problem analysis skills in interdisciplinary areas;
develop behavioral skills via ad hoc seminars and via in / out of class activities related to courses, namely skills in communication, in interaction, in addressing complex issues, including through exposure to experiences and talks by important guest speakers; develop key skills for working in public institutions and international organizations;
promote fluency in English to work effectively and efficiently; proficiency in a second EU language (Italian for non-Italian native speakers). Finally, to foster a wide-ranging culture to develop critical thinking and to delve into cutting-edge topics.

Graduates in Economics and Management of Government and International Organizations generally have excellent access to the job market. Some will choose to do research, and can continue their studies by pursuing a PhD program. Those seeking employment will find that options vary depending on their focus in this program and prior undergraduate studies, but fall into two broad areas:

Public management expert, able to deal with the rapidly changing processes of the public sector and the challenges faced by non-profits and NGOs at global level.

Management expert in, or external consultant for, public administrations and international and supranational institutions, NGOs and non-profit organizations or social enterprises, companies and institutions in the healthcare and social health sectors
Project manager or institutional building and development expert in the above areas
Relationship manager or sectorial expert in private companies working for the public sector and healthcare
Diplomatic career, subject to a state examination
Expert in public policy, who analyzes, develops and implements public policies at the local, national and – increasingly – international levels.

Internal expert or external consultant in defining policies for public administration, public and private healthcare, infrastructure and industries
Analyst on public policies in research firms, consulting firms, healthcare and social health organizations and large companies.
Analyst in international and supranational healthcare and social health institutions.

Throughout the entire legal duration of the degree program, the amounts due for the registration fee and tuition will be adjusted regarding inflation and any other updates.
Moreover, students can benefit from further fee reductions through percentage reductions or evaluation of the particular situation of the family.

For Bocconi students who decide to attend a second Master of Science program at Bocconi, a reduction of 40% off the overall cost of tuition and fees is offered. This is equal to exemption from the 2nd payment installment.
